Introduction
When to print a summary
Use Print when you need a paper copy or PDF of a ticket or opportunity overview — for field work, customer handoffs, or internal reviews. Summaries include key fields, linked contacts, and billables/equipment when loaded.

- Tickets — summary after creating or opening a ticket
- Opportunities — opportunity summary tab
- Dashboard — case summary modals where print is offered
How to print
Steps
- Open the ticket, opportunity, or case summary you want to print.
- Click Print in the summary header.
- If data is still loading (e.g. billables or equipment), the button shows Preparing print… and stays disabled until ready.
- When ready, your browser print dialog opens. Choose printer or Save as PDF.
Why "Preparing print…" appears
Summaries can open before async details finish loading. Piraja waits for linked data and fonts so the printed page matches what you see on screen. Clicking Print immediately after creating a ticket no longer produces incomplete output.
Tips
- Wait for Preparing print… to finish — do not force-refresh during preparation.
- Use Save as PDF in the browser dialog for digital archives.
- If a section looks empty, expand or open the full record first so billables/equipment load, then print again.
- Print styling is optimized for A4/Letter; use landscape only if your browser preview looks cramped.
Frequently asked questions
Can I print from mobile?
Yes, if your mobile browser supports print/PDF. Layout is best on desktop.
Why was my print missing line items before?
Older builds could print before billables loaded. Current versions gate printing until data is ready.
