Terms and conditions for using Piraja.

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of Piraja (the "Service").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

3. Description of the Service

Piraja is a multi-tenant CRM platform for businesses. Features may include CRM entities (contacts, organizations, tickets, opportunities), billing/finance modules, and an in-app mailbox (email) module with optional third-party integrations.

4. Accounts and responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
  • Ensuring your users only access data they are permitted to access
  • Using the Service in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful activities
  • Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access
  • Upload or transmit malicious code
  • Use the Service to send spam or abusive content
  • Interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the Service

6. Third-party integrations (Gmail, Microsoft Outlook/365, others)

The Service may allow you to connect third-party services ("Integrations"), such as Gmail (Google APIs) and Outlook/Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Graph). When you connect an Integration:

  • You authorize Piraja to access and process data from that provider on your behalf, limited to the permissions you grant during consent.
  • You can revoke access at any time via Piraja disconnect settings and/or in the provider’s security/permissions settings.
  • The availability and behavior of Integrations may change based on third-party policies and API availability.

7. Customer content and license

"Customer Content" means data you or your users submit to the Service or import via Integrations (including email content where you use the Mailbox module).

You retain ownership of Customer Content. You grant Piraja a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, and to provide support and security.

8. Email sending and mailbox features

If you use mailbox features (compose, reply, drafts, sending), you agree to:

  • Only send lawful communications
  • Comply with anti-spam laws and provider policies
  • Not use Piraja to send unsolicited marketing without proper consent

9. Availability, changes, and termination

We may modify the Service over time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.

On termination or account closure, access to the Service and Integrations may stop. Data handling and deletion follow our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Piraja is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Norway, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
