Troubleshoot when the Opportunities module or Pipeline view is missing or empty. Check module access and visibility.
Problem statement
The issue
You expect to see Opportunities or the Pipeline but they're missing or empty. This can mean:
- The Opportunities or Pipeline module does not appear in your menu or sidebar
- The module appears but shows no data (no opportunities, empty pipeline)
- You created an opportunity but it doesn't show in the Pipeline
- Another user can see it but you can't
Common scenarios
Scenario 1: Module not visible
- You don't see "Opportunities" or "Pipeline" in the app at all
- Your business may not have the module enabled, or you may have hidden it in your sidebar
Scenario 2: Module visible but empty
- You open Opportunities or Pipeline and see no records
- Opportunities may exist but be filtered out, or none have been created yet
Scenario 3: Permissions or scope
- You have access to the module but expect to see opportunities created by others; visibility may depend on how your business configures access
Step-by-step checks
1. Check if the module is enabled for your business
- Module availability is set by your business administrator. If you don't see Opportunities or Pipeline in the app at all, ask your business administrator to enable the Opportunities and Pipeline modules for the business.
- After they're enabled, check your sidebar or module list and turn on the ones you need so they appear in your menu. Some interfaces require you to "pin" or "show" modules after they're enabled.
2. Check your sidebar / module list
- If the module is enabled for the business but you still don't see it, look for settings or a module picker that controls which modules appear in your navigation (e.g. "Customize sidebar", "Module visibility").
- Enable Opportunities and Pipeline for your view. Save or refresh if needed.
3. Confirm data exists
- If the module is visible but empty, confirm that at least one Opportunity has been created (from the Opportunities module or from a contact/organization).
- Check filters or views: you might be on a filter that shows no results (e.g. a specific stage, assignee, or date range). Clear filters or switch to "All".
- Open the Pipeline and check all stages; the opportunity might be in a stage you didn't scroll to.
Still not working?
If the module is enabled and visible but you still can't see the expected opportunities or pipeline, contact support at support@piraja.io with:
- That you can't see Opportunities or Pipeline (or that they're empty)
- Whether the modules appear in your menu at all
- Whether other users in the same business can see them (and what they see)
- Any error message you see (exact text or screenshot)
This helps distinguish between module visibility, permissions, and data or filter issues.
Frequently asked questions
Who enables the Opportunities and Pipeline modules?
Your business administrator enables modules for the business. If you're not an admin, ask them to enable these modules. Once enabled, you may still need to show them in your sidebar (see step-by-step checks above).
I see the module but no opportunities. Did I create them wrong?
Opportunities must be linked to a contact (Individual or Organization) and saved. Check that you're not filtering by stage or assignee so that your own opportunities are hidden. Create a test opportunity from the Opportunities module or from a contact and see if it appears in the Pipeline.
Can I restrict who sees which opportunities?
Visibility and permissions are configured at the business level. If you need certain users to see only some opportunities, check your application's role and sharing settings, or contact support at support@piraja.io.
Who can I contact for help?
