Troubleshoot when an invitation to join a Piraja business fails or the invite link has expired.
Problem statement
The issue
Someone was invited to join your Piraja business but:
- They didn't receive the invitation email
- The invite link says it's expired or invalid when they click it
- They get an error when trying to accept or join
- They accepted but still can't see the business or modules
Common scenarios
Scenario 1: Email not received
The invite was sent but the invitee didn't get the email. It may be in spam, or the email address was wrong.
Scenario 2: Link expired
Invite links often expire after a set period (e.g. 24–72 hours). If the link is old, it may no longer work.
Scenario 3: Already a member or wrong link
The user may already be in the business, or they may have clicked an old or wrong link.
Step-by-step checks
1. For the person who invited
- Resend the invitation from Settings or Team: use the same email address or correct it if it was wrong.
- Ask the invitee to check spam/junk and to add the sender to contacts so the next email arrives in inbox.
- Ensure the invitee uses the latest invite link from the most recent email; old links can expire.
2. For the person who was invited
- Use the link from the most recent invitation email. If that link is expired, ask the business administrator to send a new invitation.
- If you already have a Piraja account, sign in with the same email the invitation was sent to, then try the link again.
- If you get "already a member", you may already be in the business—try signing in and checking your business switcher or home screen.
