Add your first person (Individual) and optionally their company (Organization) in Piraja CRM. Foundation for deals, invoices, and support.
Before you start
What you need
The Individuals module (and optionally Organizations) must be enabled for your business. If you don't see them, ask your business administrator. No other setup is required—you can add a contact as soon as you're in the CRM.
Add a person (Individual)
Step by step
- Open the Individuals module and choose Create or Add individual.
- Enter first name and last name. Add email and phone if you have them—email is used to match incoming emails when you use Mailbox.
- Save. The person is now in your CRM.

Add a company (Organization) if needed
If you sell B2B, add the company as an Organization and link the person to it:
- Open Organizations and create a new organization (name, optional email, phone, website).
- Open the Individual you created and set Organization (or "Link to company") to that organization. Save.
Then when you create a deal or invoice, you can select the contact or company.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to add an Organization?
No. If you only work with individuals, use Individuals only. Add Organizations when you need to group people by company.
