A short checklist to get value from Piraja CRM in your first week: add a contact, log a deal, create a task, and send an invoice or handle a ticket.
Why these quick wins
Getting value from a CRM early builds the habit. In your first week, aim to do a few concrete actions so the CRM becomes your single place for contacts, deals, and follow-up—instead of spreadsheets or scattered notes.
This checklist assumes your business has the relevant modules enabled (Individuals, Organizations, Pipeline/Opportunities, Tasks, and optionally Finance or Tickets). If something isn't available, ask your administrator or skip that step.
Checklist
1. Add your first contact
Add at least one Individual (and optionally link them to an Organization). Use a real customer or prospect so you have a starting point for the next steps. See Your First Contact.
2. Log your first deal
Create an opportunity linked to that contact (or another), set a value and stage, and move it once (e.g. Lead → Qualified). See Your First Deal.
3. Create a task
Add a Task linked to the opportunity or contact—e.g. "Follow up next Tuesday"—with a due date and assignee. So you don't rely on memory. See How to Use Tasks with Your Pipeline.
4. Send an invoice or handle a ticket (if you use them)
If your business uses Finance and Stripe, create and send your first invoice. If you use Tickets, create or reply to a first ticket. One real action in the CRM beats reading only.
After the first week
Make it a habit
- One task per next step on every deal you care about.
- Note after calls on the contact or deal so the team has context. See How to Use Notes on Contacts and Deals.
- Move deals to Won or Lost as soon as you know the outcome. See How to Move a Deal Through Pipeline Stages.
Connect email when ready
When switching between inbox and CRM feels painful, connect Gmail or Outlook so emails sync and match to contacts.

Frequently asked questions
I don't see a module. What do I do?
Modules are enabled by your business administrator. Ask them to turn on the ones you need (e.g. Tasks, Pipeline, Finance). See Why Can't I See a Module if it's still missing.
